Art historian, PhD researcher, and independent art advisor specializing in Modern, Post-war, and Contemporary art. As Founder and Managing Director of AN Art Advisory & Collection Management, I advise on acquisitions, collection management, and cultural strategy. My practice is independent and research-led, combining art-historical expertise, market knowledge, and a long-term approach to collecting.

I write Art in Question, a newsletter on art, collecting, the market, and the ideas shaping them. In On Becoming an Art Advisor, I reflect on my path from curatorial practice to independent advisory and on the principles of independence, knowledge, and responsibility that shape my work with collectors.

My background spans more than ten years across museums, cultural institutions, and the international art market. I began my curatorial career in Venice, working with the François Pinault Collection and Fondazione Querini Stampalia, and assisting Joseph Kosuth on a project presented on the occasion of the Venice Biennale. I later joined Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art under the direction of Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, contributing to exhibitions and research projects including those dedicated to Wael Shawky, Anna Boghiguian, Hito Steyerl, and Michael Rakowitz, as well as research on the Harald Szeemann archive and international projects involving the Getty Research Institute, the State Hermitage Museum, and Sharjah Art Foundation.

As an independent curator, I conceived and curated an exhibition at Villa della Regina in Turin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the Italian Ministry of Culture. The project received an ORA!X grant from Compagnia di San Paolo and was accompanied by a dedicated publication.

My research has been presented internationally, including at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, where I presented a study on Michael Rakowitz and the protection of cultural heritage. I am currently a PhD researcher at IULM University in Milan, investigating the intersections between art, luxury, and cultural patronage, with research presented at international conferences and institutions including Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, Universidad Nebrija in Madrid, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava.

I also specialize in natural diamonds and historic fine jewelry and hold the GIA Graduate Diamonds diploma, bringing this expertise into selected advisory assignments involving jewelry and tangible assets.

I graduated from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice with an MA in History of Art, specializing in Contemporary Art and graduating with highest honors, and a BA in Conservation of Cultural Heritage and Performing Arts Management. I later completed a Master in Art Law and Taxation at Treccani Accademia. My international education includes Stockholm University, Venice International University, and Columbia University, with further studies at Sotheby’s Institute of Art and Christie’s Education.
